Dr. Lok Ranjan Bhatt is Senior Scientific Officer at Nepal Academy of Science and Technology. He completed Master’s Degree in Botany from Tribhuvan University in 1996 and awarded a PhD in Natural Product Development from Wonkwang University, Korea in 2007. His areas of interests are interdisciplinary research that links botany with natural products and biomaterials. Dr. Bhatt mentors post-graduate students and young scientists. Currently he has been supervising one Doctorate and six M.Sc. students. He has published one book and more than three dozen scientific papers in various peer-reviewed journals. Dr Bhatt is in editorial board and also contributing as a reviewer in several journals.
